This is the most sensational 18th Century table - it has hand carved wooden base and 14 legs.
The intricately carved wooden legs and base are highly decorated in gold and silvered gilt.
The top is 2" in thick Onyx in three sections with the most beautiful colours. The onyx has slight nibbles but is generally in totally usable condition and exceptional condition for its age.
The table was fully restored in the early 20th century by the Highly respected cabinet maker and restorer Marcel Holsen of London who signed some replacement rails.
This is a truly special survivor of a far more opulent time .
It is 12 feet long x 38" wide x 30.5" high
